Your files print your part. Nothing else.

The short version

• At quote stage, your file is priced inside your browser — it is not uploaded to us.
• When you order, your file is used to produce your part and for nothing else. No reprints, no sharing, no reselling, no "portfolio" posts without asking you first.
• We collect only what an order needs: name, contact details, delivery address, your file, and your order brief.
• Your data is never sold. Deletion on request, any time.

1. Who is responsible

Anrich Ling trading as REALIS3D, Cape Town, South Africa, is the responsible party under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA). Contact for anything privacy-related: hello@realis3d.co.za.

2. What we collect, and why

• Order details — name, email, phone, delivery address: to produce, dispatch and support your order.
• Design files and order briefs — to quote, check printability, and print your part.
• Payment confirmation — handled by the payment provider; we never see or store card numbers.
• Site analytics — once analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Pixel) are active, they collect standard usage data. You'll see a notice here and can opt out via your browser settings.

3. Your design files, specifically

Quote-stage files stay in your browser — geometry and pricing are computed locally, and the file is discarded when you close the page unless you place an order.

Ordered files are stored securely for production and for reorders (people often want the same part again). We do not print additional copies for ourselves or anyone else, and we never share, sell, or publish your designs. Photos of your part are posted only to your private order dashboard — any public use (for example, a portfolio shot) happens only with your explicit permission.

Want a file gone after delivery? Say so — it's deleted, along with any reorder convenience that came with it.

4. Who else sees your data

Only the services an order physically requires: the courier gets your name, address and phone number to deliver the parcel; the payment provider processes your payment. Neither receives your design files. No data brokers, no marketing lists.

5. How long we keep things

Order records (who ordered what, when, for how much) are kept as long as tax law requires. Design files are kept for reorders until you ask for deletion. Analytics data follows the retention settings of the tools once active.

6. Your rights

Under POPIA you can ask what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. One email does it. You can also complain to the Information Regulator (inforegulator.org.za) — though we'd appreciate the chance to fix things first.

7. Changes

If this policy changes in any way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
