HOW IT WORKS

Upload. Print. Delivered.

From file to courier without a phone call. Here is the whole process, including exactly what happens to your part and when.

01

Upload & price

Drop your STL or OBJ on the quote page. The price is calculated in your browser, in seconds — your file doesn't go anywhere until you order. Pick a material, set the quantity, tell us what the part is for.

02

Checked before printing

Every file is sliced and checked for manufacturability by the person who runs the machine. Thin walls, undersized holes, overhangs that will scar a visible face — you hear about problems before we print, not after. These DFM notes are free, on every order.

03

Watch it happen

Your order dashboard shows live progress. When the part comes off the machine, QC photos are posted at least 2 hours before the courier cutoff. See something you want changed? Flag it and we iterate. Silence means it ships — no waiting on you to click a button.

04

Dispatched

Inspected, packed, and handed to a tracked courier — nationwide. Order before 11:00 and if your part finishes before the day's courier leaves, it goes out the same day, included in the price. Everything else gets a firm dispatch date at the quote stage.

THE SAME-DAY CLOCK

A typical rapid order

09:40
You upload a bracket. 32 g, ±1.5 print-hours. Same-day badge shows. You order.
10:10
File sliced, checked, printing. Dashboard shows first layers down clean.
13:30
Off the machine. QC photos on your dashboard. Flag anything — or do nothing.
15:30
Packed and with the courier. Tracking number on your dashboard and WhatsApp.

Missed the 11:00 cutoff? Your quote shows the next dispatch date — or queue-jump for +50% (minimum R100) and it prints next. In Cape Town metro, add same-day personal delivery for R250 and hold the part before dinner.

What the promise depends on

One part or several. There's no minimum quantity — a single prototype is a real order. Need a few? Small parts stack on one plate and print together in a single run; larger quantities simply add print time. Either way the quote shows the price and the dispatch date before you commit, so you can design, test, and reorder the next revision without guesswork.

Same-day dispatch applies when: it's ordered before 11:00, the whole order finishes printing before the day's courier leaves, it's a same-day material, and the queue is open. The quote page checks all four live — and when same-day doesn't apply, it shows your exact dispatch date instead, before you pay. The earlier you order, the bigger the part that qualifies.

Specialty materials (carbon-fibre composites, nylon, polycarbonate) add 4 business days: they're ordered fresh and dried properly before printing. Rushing wet nylon ruins parts; we don't do it.

If a print fails on our machine, it's reprinted at no cost — that's ours to carry, not yours.
